The first quarter of 2021 has seen varying performances among the top golf game applications on the iOS platform in Latin America. Here, we break down the numbers for these leading apps, with data provided by Sensor Tower.
Golf Clash, published by Electronic Arts, observed a fluctuation in weekly revenue, peaking at around $9.9K in mid-February but dipping to lows of approximately $4.9K in early March. Downloads for the game showed a declining trend from 1.6K in late December to just under 1K at the end of March. The weekly active users also decreased over the quarter, from 769 users in the last week of December to 544 users by the end of March.
For Golf Rival - Multiplayer Game by Zynga Inc., revenue showed an overall upward trend, with earnings rising from about $2.6K to over $3.2K in the same period. The downloads, however, saw a significant drop from 2.2K to 783. The weekly active users peaked at over 6.2K in the first week of January but saw a gradual decrease to 4.1K by the end of March.
Miniclip.com's Golf Battle experienced a mixed revenue trend with a notable spike to $4.7K in the first week of January, but it ended the quarter with $2.5K. Downloads remained strong, starting at 12.2K and ending the quarter with 7.6K, while weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 64K to 71K range throughout the quarter.
Ultimate Golf!, also from Miniclip.com, showed a revenue trend with some fluctuations, reaching a high of $1.2K in the second week of February and again in early March. The downloads had a notable peak of 1.2K in early March but otherwise showed a downward trend. In terms of active users, there was a rise from 2.4K at the end of December to around 2.9K in early March, followed by a slight dip to 2.2K by the end of the quarter.
Lastly, Big Fish Games, Inc's Fairway Solitaire - Card Game had a steady increase in revenue, starting at $512 and reaching $1.5K by the end of March. Downloads and weekly active users, however, showed a declining trend with downloads falling from 55 to 28 and active users decreasing from 399 to 338 over the quarter.
